Synfar

Customers and agents follow the assignment. Each sees only what is shared with them.

The client portal gives the customer and the estate agent one page for the assignment: status in plain words, what the surveying firm needs, the visit and the finished report. It is free for them to use, and the firm decides what is shared.

What you see now

  1. The firm asks for what it needs. Each request says whether it is required, and you answer or upload right there.

Two ways in.Same assignment, different roles.

For customers

  1. 1

    Send a request

Fill in the firm's form, or be invited by them. A request is not an agreement.

  2. 2

    Answer what they need

Drawings, receipts and access to the home. You see what is required and what has been received.

  3. 3

    Meet at the visit

Time, place and access are in one place. If you need another time, ask for it in the portal.

  4. 4

    Get the report

The current version is at the top. You confirm receipt, and can send objections separately.

For estate agents

  1. 1

    Order on the customer's behalf

Choose "I'm an estate agent" in the form. Give the customer and who should pay.

  2. 2

    Get an invitation

Once the firm has created the assignment, you get a personal link to the portal.

  3. 3

    Follow the status

See whether the assignment is in preparation, at the visit or in quality review, without calling.

  4. 4

    Receive the report

The report the firm shares with you is in the portal, with version and date.

One form. The first question decides the rest.

Customers and agents use the same form. If you choose that you are an agent, the form asks for the customer, who should pay and a confirmation that the customer asked you to order.

  • The customer is always the client. The agent follows the assignment for the customer.
  • The payer is a preference. Price and payer are agreed before the assignment starts.
  • The confirmation is stored word for word, with your name and the time.
  • The receipt shows what you sent and what happens next.

Who should pay?
The estate agency

I confirm that the customer asked me to order this on their behalf, and that you may contact the customer directly about the assignment.

The limits we keep

  • The agent never sees the customer's own answers and documents.
  • Confirming receipt of a report is not agreeing with it.
  • A reply or objection never changes an issued report.
  • A request for another time does not move the visit by itself.
  • Invitations are personal, tied to one email address, and expire.
  • Customers and agents need no paid licence.

What customers and agents ask

Does the portal cost anything?
No. Customers, agents and other outside participants use the portal for free. The surveying firm is the one with Synfar.
How do I get access?
The firm gives you a personal invitation link. It is tied to your email address, and you sign in with that same address.
Does the agent see everything I send?
No. The agent sees the status, the visit time and the reports the firm shares with the agent. The answers and documents you send are seen only by the firm.
Can I move the visit?
You can ask for another time in the portal. The visit stands as agreed until the firm has confirmed a change.
What does confirming receipt mean?
That you have received that specific version of the report. It does not mean you agree. If you disagree with something, send it as a separate reply.
Does the portal work on mobile?
Yes. The portal is built for mobile, with large buttons and uploads of pictures and PDFs straight from the phone.

Are you a surveyor?
