- Readings require a unit. “Not obtained” is an answer of its own, not an empty field.
- A new finding never inherits a grade or conclusion from the previous one.
- No report can be issued while anything is still saved only locally.

When sources disagree,you see both.
The owner’s statement, an invoice and your own observation are three different things. Synfar keeps them apart, shows them side by side and lets you ask for clarification. No source is picked as right automatically.
- The original file is kept unchanged. Extracts, crops and redactions are stored as their own versions.
- A citation opens the exact page, photo or moment in the recording.
- When a source changes, the sections built on it are flagged for review.

Before issuance you see the exact version, the review result, unresolved items and the declaration. Delivery is a separate step with recipient and attachments. An issued report has no editable fields.
- Review can be self-review for solo assignments, or required from a colleague when the firm’s rules say so.
- Corrections create a new version linked to the old one, with the underlying basis preserved.
- Drafts export with a “Draft” watermark, date and revision.

Each party sees their own.Nothing more.
Clients get their own requests and finished reports. A contractor sees only the defects assigned to them, responds there and uploads documentation. Reported repaired is not the same as verified.
- External participants need no paid seat.
- Links recheck access every time, and expire.
- One party can disagree without blocking another party’s response.
